Article 1 — Purpose

These General Terms of Use ("GTU") govern the use of the Djossi platform ("the Platform"): messaging, wall, listings, profiles and related services.

They are accepted together with the General Terms of Registration (GTR), by ticking the box "I confirm that I have read the GTR and the GTU" followed by the "I accept" button.

Article 2 — Access and account

Access to Platform content (listings, members, messaging) is restricted to logged-in members.

Members are responsible for keeping their credentials confidential. Any activity from their account is presumed to come from them.

Article 3 — Rules of use

Messaging: exchanges must stay courteous and related to the listing. Sharing personal contact details is only allowed after 5 messages exchanged, as per the anti-scam system.

Wall and profile: personal, honest and respectful posts. Photos and descriptions must faithfully represent the member.

Listings: clear titles, accurate descriptions, transparent prices and terms. Listing a service you cannot provide is prohibited.

Article 4 — Prohibited content

Strictly prohibited: scams and fraud attempts; fake profiles and identity theft; harassment, insults and discrimination; sexual, violent or illegal content; spam and unsolicited advertising; any attempt to bypass security systems (contact blocking, identity verification, sponsorship).

Any reported unlawful content is removed without delay and its author sanctioned.

Article 5 — Graduated sanctions

Breaches lead to proportionate sanctions: 1) warning with notification; 2) temporary 7-day suspension; 3) permanent ban.

Serious breaches (fraud, forged documents, harassment) may lead to immediate ban without prior warning.

Sanctioned members are informed of the reason and duration.

Article 6 — Published content

Members retain ownership of content they publish (texts, photos, listings) and grant Djossi a display licence on the Platform for the duration of publication.

Members warrant they hold the rights to published content and that it does not infringe third-party rights.

Deleting the account removes content published by the member.

Article 7 — Service availability

The current version is a beta: Djossi strives to keep the service available but does not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free access.

Maintenance, updates or temporary suspensions may occur, with prior notice when possible.

Article 8 — Limitation of liability

Djossi, a mere matchmaking intermediary, cannot be held liable for disputes between members, non-performance of a job, internship or training, or indirect damages from using the Platform.

Guarantors vouch for the credibility of their sponsees, without answering for damages they may cause or handling disputes involving them (see GTR, article 4).

Article 9 — Personal data

Using the Platform involves collecting personal data, processed per the Privacy Policy and Law 25.

Members may exercise their rights (access, correction, deletion) from "My account" or at info@djossi.com.

Article 10 — Amendments, contact, applicable law

Version: 2026-10-09. Djossi may amend the GTU; members are informed of any material change.
